Per il suo film 12 ASTERISCI (come le dodici stelle sulla bandiera europea), l’artista tedesco Telemach Wiesinger ha visitato numerosi luoghi alle frontiere interne ed esterne della Comunità Europea. La forma aperta e sperimentale del film allenta visivamente i confini e sfida esteticamente qualsiasi idea che il pubblico possa avere per conformarla a una rigida regolamentazione. (Jörg Schöning) Telemach Wiesinger, nato nel1968 a Bielefeld (Germania), ha studiato Comunicazione Visiva presso l’Universität Gesamthochschule di Kassel. Le sue pluripremiate opere su film analogico in 16 mm sono presentate in programmi solisti o spettacoli e in numerosi festival e location internazionali. Telemach Wiesinger è anche visiting lecturer presso Università e scuole d’arte. Come fotografo sta lavorando a numerosi libri d’arte e mostre personali.

For his film 12 ASTERISCI (after the twelve stars on the European flag), the German artist Telemach Wiesinger visited numerous places on the internal and external borders of the European Community. The film’s open, experimental form visually loosens boundaries and aesthetically challenges any ideas the audience might hold of conforming to rigid regulation. (Jörg Schöning) Telemach Wiesinger, born in 1968 in Bielefeld (Germany), studied Visual Communication at Universität Gesamthochschule in Kassel. His multiple award winning 16mm analogue film works are presented in solo programs or performances and on numerous international festivals and locations. Telemach Wiesinger is also a visiting lecturer at universities and art schools. As a photographer he is working for many art books and solo-exhibitions.
