Katia vive a Berlino dal 2022, sta fuggendo da una guerra. Mentre riflette sulle profonde ferite che un conflitto può lasciare, dice a Yann quanto sia importante e inevitabile cercare di essere felici. Nel frattempo le nuvole si spostano nella notte, la gente va alla deriva tra le nuvole, per le strade, in mare.Yann les Jours originario di Lione, in Francia, risiede a Berlino. Ha conseguito una formazione in Storia dell’Arte e Letteratura Inglese. Il cortometraggio d’esordio di Yann Repetitions è stato presentato in anteprima all’Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen nel 2022 e successivamente proiettato in vari festival cinematografici. Nel 2023 ha realizzato un trittico di corti documentari sperimentali, ognuno con una propria struttura poetica.
Katia lives in Berlin since 2022, she is fleeing a war. As she reflects on the deep wounds that a war can leave, she tells Yann how important and inevitable it is to try to be happy. Meanwhile the clouds are drifting in the night, people are drifting in the clouds, in the streets, at sea.Yann les Jours, originally from Lyon, France, resides in Berlin. He holds a background in History of Arts and English literature. Yann’s debut short film Repetitions premiered at Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen in 2022 and subsequently screened at various film festivals. In 2023, he created a triptych of short experimental documentaries, each with its own unique poetic structure.
