Essence
I fotogrammi sono frammenti di vita delle persone, che si alternano a immagini metaforiche e creano uno spazio comune dell’esistenza umana. Un tentativo di comprendere l’essenza di una persona attraverso le sue 2 emozioni fondamentali: un sentimento di dolore e un sentimento di amore. Vladimir Rumata è nato nel 1994 a Rostov sul Don. Si è laureato presso il College of Civil Engineering nel 2014. Dopo la laurea, non ha proseguito nella professione, ma ha comprato una macchina fotografica a credito e ha iniziato a girare. Dalle riprese di reportage, è passato lentamente a video musicali e spot pubblicitari. Si sentiva però limitato in questi formati e voleva parlare di argomenti più profondi. È così che è arrivato al suo primo corto, che ora partecipa ai festival.
The rapidly changing frames are fragments of people’s lives, alternating with metaphorical images and creating a common slice of human existence. An attempt to comprehend the essence of a person through his 2 fundamental emotions: a feeling of pain and a feeling of love. Born in 1994 in Rostov-on-Don. He graduated from the College of Civil Engineering in 2014. After graduating from college, he did not work by profession, instead he bought a camera on credit and went to shoot. From reportage filming, he slowly moved on to music videos and commercials. But he felt cramped in these formats, as he wanted to talk about deeper topics. That’s how he came to his first short, which is now going to festivals.
