Un misterioso viaggiatore del tempo, la cui natura di essere umano o di intelligenza artificiale rimane incerta, ritorna da un episodio in cui lui solo ha scoperto una verità sorprendente: la città di Pisa è salpata, attraversando un abisso di tempo e spazio. Ora è tenuto prigioniero in un ‘regno senza tempo’, un ambiente familiare e alieno, dove la notte giunge di rado. Ogni giorno compie gli stessi gesti, segue le stesse routine, come intrappolato in un loop surreale. Matias Guerra (Cile, 1973) è un pittore, artista multimediale e regista principalmente dedito alla sperimentazione con video e suono. La sua ricerca artistica si concentra sulle relazioni spazio-tempo, esplorando le interazioni tra l’individuo, il collettivo e la macchina. Collabora con artisti e associazioni culturali, privilegiando progetti di gruppo. È membro fondatore e direttore creativo di VIS - Virtual Immersions in Science, primo spin-off della Scuola Normale, e membro associato de La Camera Verde a Roma.
A mysterious time traveler—whose nature as human or AI remains unclear—returns from an episode where he alone uncovered a startling truth: the city of Pisa has set sail, traversing an abyss of time and space. Now, he is held captive in a ‘timeless realm’, an environment both familiar and alien, where night seldom falls. Each day, he performs the same gestures, follows the same routines, as if trapped in a surreal loop. Matias Guerra (Chile, 1973) is a painter, multimedia artist and filmmaker primarily dedicated to video and sound experimentation. His artistic research focuses on the space-time relationship, exploring the interaction between the individual, the collective, and the machine. He collaborates with artists and cultural associations, favoring collective projects. He is a founding member and creative director of VIS - Virtual Immersions in Science, the first spin-off of the Scuola Normale, and an associate member of La Camera Verde in Rome.
